Contact form

It is your choice to fill out the form to contact me.  I will know your name, email, and whatever you choose to put in the subject line and message  box.  This is collected for the sole purpose of replying to your message.

Do NOT submit sensitive information (i.e. birth-dates, demographic information, pictures, credit card numbers, resumes, etc.) in the contact form.  I do not need to know any of that, and I will NOT ask for it upon responding to your message.  I only need to know if you are over 13 years of age for compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA; see below for more details).  I prefer to know if you are over 18 years old since that is the most common age of majority.

I am the only person who will have access to this information unless extenuating circumstances apply.

I may or may not delete the initial message and any subsequent conversation(s) from my inbox or transfer it into a folder for my personal records.  This will be done at my discretion.

Logging in to the Website

Any login attempts, regardless of success, are recorded by a third party and sent to me.  I do not control the privacy practices of any third parties.  This information includes (but may not be limited to) the username, time, day, web browser, internet service provider, and IP Address of the device making the log-in attempt.  Any log-in attempts not made by an authorized user are considered to be for nefarious purposes.

A “nefarious purpose” includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • “Checking up” on my security for the “good” of myself and/or my website;
  • Doing me a “favor” by making sure my password is not weak;
  • Hostile takeover of my domain;
  • Teen-aged shenanigans;
  • Shenanigans by people of any age;
  • Attempting to compromise data, personal or otherwise;
  • Hacking the website (regardless of success);
  • Attempting to change any part of the website without my express permission in writing on physical paper

If you contact me to request that I delete the data from your login attempt (failed or successful) I will contact the authorities and turn the data over to them.  I am literally the only person authorized to login to this website.
