About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I earned my Master’s of Science Degree in May 2022.  I passed the National Association of State Boards of Geology’s (ASBOG) Fundamentals of Geology (FG) Licensing Exam in Spring 2022.  This is an accomplishment that I am very proud of since the exam was the morning after the full, “rough” (it was actually the fourth or fifth draft), of my thesis was due.  I believe that the timing proves that I can handle multiple tasks very well.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2018.  In my undergraduate program, I had the opportunity to participate in several projects (I dedicated an entire page to these).  I enjoyed all of the projects that I took part in.  However, I am most proud of the project that I started on in July 2017.  It was the subject of my (unpublished yet successfully defended) undergraduate thesis, a poster I presented at the 2017 Geological Society of America (GSA) Annual Meeting in Seattle, a poster I presented at UNL’s Student Research Fair and at the Nebraska Academy of Sciences (NAS) Annual Spring Meeting in Lincoln, and an oral presentation I gave at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the North-Central Section of GSA in Ames.  For the last presentation, I was awarded Runner-Up in the Undergraduate Student Oral Presentations.

I enjoy reading, knitting, and painting in my free time.
